I used to buy bubble gum after school from a shop in Enfield Road, Crabbs Cross in Redditch from Bonham's. Their big fat hairy son often used to come through from the back of the shop and grab a fistful of sweets from the display, scaring us all, then disappear out the back door. He played in a local beat combo, if memory serves. Now what was their darn name?...

He used to live in the caravan in the garden with his wife Pat according to my mum. When he lived in Plymouth Rd i used to get to wash his blue Maxi of a sunday morning. I hated it. the hippies who answered the door scared the crap out of me.

Duran Duran's John (nigel) Taylor. Likeable geezer as it happens. Still keeps in touch with old school friends by all accounts.

Yeah but wiggy will!
They were shite anyhows ... all on different drugs at the same time except fer the guitarist who drank bitter .
They did one or two wacky gigs supporting the long pigs back in the early 90s ... they were like the 13 floor elevators on dodgy acid mix with speed.
