I was actually quite disappointed by the Chameleons reunion. Having 'stuck-with-it' through the Mark Burgess solo albums the reward for doing so seemed to be Invincible ("We're Invincible... but you can call us Vince").

After all the endless issuing of cds of demos, sessions and live recordings they started back out with 'Strip' - tired acoustic reworkings of the same old songs yet again, did one new album 'Why Call It Anything' that wasn't all that great and then 'This Never Ending Now' - mainly the same old songs still yet again.

Another Invincible album seems sadly unlikely as Burgess pissed Yves Altanta off no end by ditching him to reform the Chams.

I've a quite listenable live recording of Invincible if anyone wants a copy ... I'd be particularly pleased to swap for an even half-decent live Sun & Moon recording!

Gary Numan, Southampton Gaumant 1981, I think it was. First concert I had ever been to - thought I had died and arrived in heaven!

Any Bad Manners gig in Blandford in the 90's.
What a mosh!

Page and Plant, Glastonbury 1996. Have a photo of me v v wasted with the biggest smile you ever did see - was the happiest bunny in the world that day!

I reckon I saw Gary Numan on the same tour in Birmingham. Was it the 'Warriors' tour? I remember the bassist doing an excellent solo spot. Support, if memory serves was 'Tick & Tock'.

I think it may have been a different tour.
Support was a guy all bandaged up playing an electric violin, called Nash the Slash, I think.
Gary Numan et al were wearing thin double red straps on leather jackets - same as stripes on the single covers. Can't remember the name, argghh ...
Thinking about it, it was probab;y 1980 rather than 1981

Hope you enjoyed it.

One of the guitarists started a side project called Servotron, they were even more out there.

Damn. I thought that my age admission entry would have been buried in among all these other entries and not spotted.

So, how old are you?
