Not only that, he wrot most of the songs as well, but naaah... only other thiong on the album I thought was half decent was "Going Down To Liverpool", the rest was just cheesy 80s arena pop. Nowt like the Soft Boys at all.

And the Bangles version of "Liverpool" was better.

Heard it on The Blue Room a couple of months back - hadn't heard it in a long time, and it still sounds fab. Stardust is in a similar vein of course and very nearly as good.

Emma Bunton - Free Me (i think it's called that) Snoop Dogg - Drop it like it's hot Joy Division - Disorder. No, I don't think Joy Division are shit, they were very very good indeed. I just never feel the need to listen to them these days, apart from this one, which I could listen to all day. It's that bassline see? x

>Joy Division - Disorder. No, I don't think Joy Division are shit, they were very very good indeed. I just never feel the need to listen to them these days< Interesting comment - I was a huge fan, having plugged into them just as they went from Warsaw to Joy Division, but these days I find it difficult to put on an album (and I've got 'em all!). All my heroes seem to give it up in the end..... >It's that bassline see?< "Sunrise" from Low Life - now there's a bass line - I remember watching a New Order concert on the telly (I think they were in Japan) and Bernard Sumner was giving Peter Hook serious sh*t because he was too up front in the mix with it: loud and bubbly - "Sunrise - the Essex Blonde Mix"! :-) Peace Pilgrim

> Emma Bunton - Free Me (i think it's called that) Was it 'Maybe'? 60's pastiche? If so, I'm with you on that one. Smashing single!
