not sure about guilty pleasures, mind just not the utmost of cool possibly. But then there's been a 'lounge' revival in the last 15 years that has meant a reconsideration of a lot of what can be thought to be worthwhile etc.
Marty Robbins lp has hgreat guitar and was supposedly inmfluential on the Gun Club.
Why be ashamed of any music you get a buzz off unless it's U2 then you've probly got pretty deep problems methinks. Probly same with Green Day and several others methinks.
