The Ox? Is that Entwistle? Dunno why, but I've laways thought of him as some great unsung musician. I instantly think "good bass player". Couldn't say why, mind.

I quite like Billy Mac's voice personally - always thought he sounded like Russell Mael from Sparks - but as Jim Tones pointed out above, it's all down to personal taste.

Seconded.
The latter day stuff was less 'helium', more crooning. His range was amazing. In terms of actual 'singing', I think only Scott can compare.
One of the greatest vocalists EVER IMO.

I like some Who - early singles (except for Substitute which I never wanna hear again), Who's Next, Quadrephenia, and I've known the time when I considered myself a fan. But the longer it goes on, and the more comebacks and big re-union tours we get (and the more Townshend bleats on with such self-importance), the more I think that they've made a very long career out of what actually amounts to very little.
