Black Sabbath: Mob Rules -- That's definitely a Korg Poly 800 synth in the background (like I have!) Ronnie James Dio originally came from the Finger Lakes region south of my town, by the way. In the early 60s he used to write/produce doo-wop records (or that's what Greg Prevost of the Chesterfield Kings once told me...)
Killing Joke: Outside The Gate -- finally got the infamous worst Killing Joke album... Yeah, as cynical as you'd expect -- pretty much cheesy-pop material, except the keyboards are discordant and fucked, making the whole thing a bit creepy. (The story was Coleman was using Crowley-style numerology to write the songs.)
Primal Scream: Screamadelica -- Did nothing for me outside of "Moving On Up" to be honest...
