Did you know: Tony Reeves produced the 2nd Day Of Phoenix album "The Neighbour´s Son" around 71/72 and even played bass on one track.
In my opinion Day Of Phoenix was the best progressive band coming from Denmark, with two albums very different from each other.
The first with prog-like jazz & impro elements (symphonic almost)and ambitious lyrics about trandencental love, out there, while the 2nd on the contrary is down-to-earth "after love" (and tragic death of their bass player) hard hitting with twin guitars perfect in the mix. Dream and delusion. I love ´em both. Available on a single CD now.
Roxy Music told an interviewer in 72 they liked the band a lot!!!
