I am keen on the first three albums, Last being a great compilation of two half-albums, the meditational B-side recorded in 74 being the best thing they ever made, the A-side dating from the time of 2nd. Not similar to Cliffs at all, I don't think so.
Those later records (Cliffs, Othersides and Fragments) are not essential though the jazzy-flavoured jams are more interesting than other bands who attempted the same thing.
