Well, people in the North of England (Leeds, to be precise) can at least see Vibracathedral and Merzbow at the upcoming Termite Festival... along with other wonders such as Lol Coxhill: http://www.termiteclub.cjb.net/

Random fact: Due to the fact I was too dumb to do German at school, Resonance FM has finally clued me in to the fact that Merzbow is apparently pronounced Mertzbow.
