In truth the topic of "gays" makes up a very small % of the content of Ice Cube's raps. His "gayest" song is "No Vaseline" which uses anal rape as a metaphor in describing why he hates his former business partners from NWA and what he wants to do to them -- so it's not even "gay" really. Anymore than prison rape is "gay."
Cube does object to homosex on religious grounds, and in that he's pretty typical. He also objects to eating pork, in fact mentions that far more often than gay sex . . .
And anyway "gangsta rappers" make a point of being controversial and politically incorrect, often to ridiculous extremes.
Not defending what he said, but his right to say his opinions.
Of course you have a right not to listen too.
