Chronos, Mantas & Abbadon from Venom (Or Chronic, Mental & Abdomen as I prefer)

Quorthon - Bathory

Shagrath - Dimmu Borgir

Dani Filth - Cradle Of Filth

In fact you could fill up this thread with the daft names Black Metal artists give themselves

Thor -...er Thor.

Rikki Rocket & C.C DeVille - Poison

>you are really beginning to worry me!

I'll listen to your concerns once you can honestly tell me you didn't go and read the stories.

C'mon, the site just says out loud what we all feel inside. I'm pleased that someone can publish something that gives a chance to the inner shrinkwrapped-Orbison fetishist in us all.

Andrew Loog Oldham toyed with the idea of being a TV presenter on Ready Steady Go and calling himself Chancery Lane.

i think of it every time I'm on the Central Line.

If I remember right, didn't Captain Beefheart's original Magic Band members all have wacky names like Drumbo, Zoot Horn Rollo and Mascara Snake?

The irony is that David Sylvian would agree. He hasn't got a good word to say about anything Japan did apart from Ghosts. Have to say I agree with Moey, pretentiousness is great. It never did people like Bowie any harm anyway.
