you see maps in the daily paper giving locations of "enemy" units and displacement of friendly strike forces, with little bomb and tank symbols and insets providing details (like we are voyeurs/ to be titilated) giving the impression of local knowledge Note: dehumanising language when "they" describe this

hordes of kids bunk off school around the world, block Whitehall, get arrested for public order offences and have to be forcibly dragged off the top of the gates outside Downing Street check them out: http://www.slough4peace.net/gallery/?id=pxINET1780 and don't tell me there's no hope for the young people of today ... I think we'd better watch out, this is going to be 10 times bigger than the CJA, in terms of unifying and radicalising ... RG

hey cool, can i bunk off school!! soz rg, bit low today, just depressed me to see those map things in the metro today, defeatist talk n'all that ;-) any moves for another march afoot, *asking* rg with ear to ground even bigger, more nvda peeps - now that's a cheery thought

...the Beeb starts sensoring it's news items...a few weeks back we were listening to the Today programme on R4...news came on that weapons inspectors in Iraq had found 'no evidence' of chemical weapons...so we scanned the morinig news/papers/teletext etc....nothing...the story got pulled...if both my wife and myself hadn't heard it together, i'd be tempted to think we'd gone mad.
