Your slant on all this is absurd.... No one wants to "turn in"... People want justice. Whatever you say is going to make no difference... The fight will be taken to 'them'. People just want to live safely.... I get that. I will leave all the justification and motives for the terrorists over to you. Where the hell do you get all this Cowed and turned in bullshit? I believe it was one of the famous admirals{yamamoto?} of the japanese imperial navy who once said... "I fear we have awoken a sleeping giant." Oh fuck yeah.

As always....cheap point scoring and utter manipulation of others words and natural/emotional reactions to a crisis/national tragedy...{if the elderly folks and just about everyone else was scared shitless in the immediate aftermath of that attack....who are YOU to question that?} I didn't get any of that from Sanctuary's posts... I did get that he cares a hell of a lot for his own countrymen and kith and kin than for a rotten bunch of abscessed humanity. Thank god for guys like Sanctuary{Roy}...he was the guy our Grandfathers that fought alongside the Brits in WW2 were talking about...sure as hell not the likes of you. Thanks Mr Pedantic. My grandfather (who fought in the trenches in France in WW1) was an air raid warden during the Blitz. My aunt worked as a nurse in slummy Kilburn in London throughout the Second World War. I'm not sure they were counting how many cities as a proportion of the UK were being bombed, but what they most certainly were not was cowed.

Roy was born after the war finished. Of my grandparents, one fought in France in WW1 and was an air-raid warden in the WW2 blitz, the other fought in North Africa, Italy and Germany in WW2. He went on to campaign for peace and nuclear disarmament. My aunt was a nurse throughout the Blitz in a slummy part of London. These people were not cowed. Aberdeen, Dundee and Edinburgh were other Scottish cities bombed during WW2.

Well...this thread is obviously a dead man walking.... It was originally posted by me in the hopes that it would illuminate the plight of utterly defenseless minority Christians in Egypt..... You know.....getting massacred by Islamic terrorists right and left.... But i realize that is not the point at hand for those who have completely conscripted yet another thread for their own personal vanity project. And so....i have decided to let it rest in peace.
