The free bus travel thing is in place across the whole of England too ( but the services themselves are constantly cut).

It also applies in Wales but only to Welsh pensioners (I believe Welsh pensioners can travel for free in England on their passes but not vice versa).

I pay for my prescriptions and see no problem with that, I earn enough to afford it while others can't. I still get free at point of use doctor and hospital appointments.
