Seems more like a case of choosing the bigger villain, which is the very reason why modern politics is up the shitter. Modern politicians should be more like most Ancient Greek politicians, poor, anonymous civil servants, with a constitutional loathing of anyone with too much power. I can't see a Republican party with full control of congress and a leader who's vowed to increase military spending lessening its involvement in foreign wars, but I'm with phallus in thinking that Hilary really gave off an LBJ and Vietnam vibe with some of her campaign speeches.

Looks to me like the meat and potatoes crowd are dying out. Which I'm actually happy with to some extent. No more meat pretending to be potatoes. Everything in plain sight. Now hopefully there'll be a few more Syrizas to balance out the Marine Le Pens of this world.
