The Americans look to someone they have been told is 'self-made' - only he wasn't. He always had his father's wealth behind him. A gentle, reflective, East Coast woman I have got known via social media is now talking about her dystopian country, where she wants things to go back to being ordinary (sort of rings a bell). She is also talking about having that pill of poison handy - the future looks bleak. I heard a young woman who represents Republicans Abroad talking this morning - she said she would not be voting for Trump or Clinton and America needs a third alternative option, apparently there is one growing, though I am not yet familiar with it.
