You'd think if you were going to do something like that to be a good jihadist, you'd let people know that's what you were doing. Or perhaps god knows anyway and is pleased.

I agree about the religion aspect. He'd be labelled a pure nutcase if he was white, but because he was Muslim his actions must have been terrorism. And now Islamic State have claimed he was doing it for them... yeah yeah why waste such good publicity, especially when we can't ever know if he wasn't because he's dead.
