Re: Another own goal (that's about 6-0)

That's really disheartening. But you know why they've done it. It's because (although it seemed patently obvious what the rules said) one side has agreed 'ok Jeremy can go on the ballot paper for nothing' but only if they can have their own way, i.e. an attempt to block the people they think are going to vote for Jeremy.

It is pathetic.

But I still think he can win and make that twit Eagle look stupid.

I know people are saying it's pressing the self destruct button. Somebody said to me 'can you really see JC as PM' (personally I'd be happy) - but that's not important really, I mean can you see the hawkish Eagle as PM either? I'd just like the labour party to get back to its socialist (democratic socialist) roots and give this country a proper alternative to vote for. And if they don't want that, if they want another kick in the head and do the turkeys vote for christmas thing, then so be it. But least there'd be a bloody alternative there.

If you want to hear some insane ramblings..

.. which will make you swear, you could do no better than listen to Margaret Hodge spitting bile about her colleagues and members of the labour party (7.10 on this morning's Today). What a disgrace, accusing momentum etc of bullying and intimidating people = take a look in the mirror love. The whole world is upside down. These people are doing themselves no favours and I look forward to them crashing and burning.

Don't we all, I find it extraordinary that such people as Hodge can exaggerate to such a lying degree. We seem to be served by a bunch of self-serving mindless idiots, no wonder Corbyn is standing on the sidelines not saying anything, he is just letting the opposing side destroy themselves.....

That is the prevailing wisdom of the political expertatium, ain't it, that JC can't possibly be PM, that he's unelectable etc. So it begs the question, with the opposition divided & led by an unelectable leader, why has PM May categorically ruled out an early general election? What can she possibly be scared of?

And there she was on BeebNews24 but yesterday morning, beaming away, all sweetness and light, happy clappy, reckoning she was on to a good thing....the likes of her, Mandy, Straw, Campbell are still there, hovering, plotting.. still, if there's no GE till '20 plenty of time to deal with them once and for all.

To all the above.. Quite, again. Don't they have any notion of how much their hypocrisy & cynical manoeuvring is viewed? Maybe they really do think the vast majority of the people they're supposed to serve are morons. Their arrogance & self obsession to my mind exposes the weakness of SOME people who have designs on power: our apparently representative politicians.
I would like to know why Corbyn isn't considered to be PM material..why? Because the media tells us so..? He's a man of apparently commited values & principles who is honestly representing the actual real people who voted for him because of those values & principles. Why is Teresa May capable of being PM... I don't think she's up to it. This is a woman who stated that Gordon Brown didn't have a mandate to govern the country cos he'd not been specifically elected..! Short, convenient memories. Bunch of twats...Sorry:)

Ranting.. Sorry again. What " unelectable" in this context means is somebody who can't be bought ( recent tweet from an American who was tweeting about Bernie Sanders)
