Obviously. The NRA are bigger than killing your own people? Obamah can hardly get healthcare through The Senate, which is historically Democratic.
I despair, then again the UK is no better.
We're slightly better in that you can't yet walk into your local Wal-Mart & buy an automatic or whatever. If that day comes, we're fucked.
I listened to 5 minutes of Trumps speech, and I felt physically sick. Really. I fired an email to a friend in Boston USA, and said what the hell?
She doesn't understand it either.
Hope she's not Mexican cos she'll be trammelled into constructing the great wall soon. Can this really be happening?
A letter from America.
This country is insane, Mark. It seems there are intelligent thinkers and there are club-weilding neanderthals. The neanderthals are loud. I've been fed up with this place politically since Bush - well, Reagan - and it just gets worse and worse.
I originally thought that Trump got into the race to give Clinton a boost by making the Republican party look ridiculous, because no one could possibly gravitate to his rhetoric. It's clearly repellent. I thought it was his game, because he was always friends with the Clintons. I think it may have been, but he can't resist the adulation, and so has stayed in. You're the professional expert, but I think he's mentally ill.
But it's the public that scares me. I live in Boston, where most people are reasonable, even if they are Republicans. But so much of this country is decades, if not centuries, behind.
What's your stand on Britain and the EU?
