Must say that I did think that the whole games went off pretty well and that I agree with Dorian but all those atheletes who got away without testing positive for drugs or stimulants must have heaved a big sigh of relief as they crossed the line and were presented with their medallions of metal.
I couldn't give a toss whether they are British or from across the waters - it is the taking part that counts and there were thousands upon thousands of laughing, happy, people watching.
Perhaps the next venue should be Prague!
Loved the fireworks at the end - great spectacle. Julian please take note for the tour!!
