Your MP should be doing something about it, if he/she supports what you say. I don't agree with creationism being taught in schools, unless it's part of Religious Studies, which I think should teach something of all religions and not just christianity, like what I had to learn in school.

The majority, if not all, of these new schools will fail, this govt hasn't thought through any of their policies and it's all going to end up like a domino effect. You may be annoyed now, but remember this will end very soon.

As for your MP, why not write to the local newspaper about him/her and the exact response you received! I'm sure he/she will soon have a change of heart after that!
