It isn't the most densely populated country in Europe. Not even close. Netherlands has almost twice as many people per square mile as the UK. Belguim, and a handful of minor nations like San Marino and Malta also have higher population densities.
Apart from that, I agree with you. It only takes a moments thought to realise that anyone that calls for "sustainable growth" is either a charlatan or an utter fucking moron.
