Well, here comes Governor Rick Perry, from Texas, putting himself up for the nomination of president of the USA (just what the world needs, another swaggering Texan in the White House... groan).

His big prayer rally recently was financed by a group that believes only Christians should have religious freedom.

Dangerous man. He actually has a good chance of being the next president, considering that support for Obama has naturally declined since it's been revealed what a capitulating, spineless failure he really is.

Past Republican presidents have used the evangelical vote to their advantage, but afterwards pretty much ignored that agenda. Not so sure that would be the case this time.
