What a gormless arse. It's like they're not even trying to disguise their inherent cuntiness anymore. And these things can have a detrimental effect on the BIG business side in the long run too.
My dad has worked for several years in PR to the engineering industry and the feedback from them is scary. One guy, who ran two machine tools factories, one in England, the other in Luxembourg, had to close one of the them down due to the effects of recession. Being an English dude he wanted to keep the one in the UK open. But, because the laws protecting workers rights in regards with things like redundancy are so much more firm and protective in Europe he couldn't afford to do that and it was the one in England that went. Cue loss of jobs, manufacturing and all the attendent stuff that goes with it.
