You oughta know by now that I'm sometimes a bit sloppy-happy with my use of the vernacular.

But anyway, indeed, we are awash in electromagnetic radiation all the time- but we're usually not putting the actual transmitter right up to our heads.

Some people more sensitive to it than others? I expect so. I've seen clients of mine exert strange influences on their equipment, too (no empirical evidence, just observations that some highly-strung individuals seem to experience more flaky behavior from their electronics than others).
