I don't understand 'Nick Clegg'. Not so much 'what he says', but 'what he is'.
He's the *deputy* prime minister. Historically, deputy prime ministers said diddly squat.
Only stood in when needed. The odd interview/QT appearance.
For instance, when Cameron's father died, you could see where the role of the 'deputy' lay.
However, Clegg just... talks too much for his position.
He's like a wee boy who'd been given a toy 'post office set', and really, really thinks he works in the post office.
I'm sure that was the condition on which they sleazed up to the tories.
