Sadly, this only confirms our worst fears.

Very interesting article. The thing that scares me is the so obvious correlation with the vicious right wing agenda of this coalition-in- name-only Tory government. No wonder Cameron is bing feted by the Tea Party crew, although this could embarrass him yet here in the UK. If this governemnt were to last, and I don't think it will as coalitions are weak by their very nature (such a massive and blatant social engineering project of this magnitude would need a very strong majority elected government to even have a hope of pulling it off IMO), and it formed another 'very' special relationship with the forthcoming Republican government in the US, that could result in an alliance that made Blair/Bush look like Pinky and Perky by comparison re. continued oppressive and regressive governance at home, and truly frightening and disastrous mutually 'beneficial' global foreign policy.

The right's 'great unwashed' have been brainwashed into being dupes for the return of the oligarchs... if they 'win', they will see their civil rights squeezed, their paychecks squeezed, their prospects dimmed... Government and the courts will be even more corrupt than they are now...
I can't stand 'em. Few of 'em seem aware of the supreme irony of having antigovernment soap-box types run for office.
The Tea Party has been very cleverly used to pave the way for the return of feudalism.
