Changed conditions and lower pay sounds familiar. Sign that new contract or get lost, basically.

In my (v) part time job at the library we are waiting to all get the sack so our places can be taken by these alleged hoards of keen volunteers. Suppose they'll be looking for some people that can do the job. I can think of a few people who are eminently qualified funnily enough. Yeah right, fuck off. And why would people volunteer when usually the only reason is so they get their foot in the door for a paid job, but there aren't any? Oh but it's nice outside today and I thought I'd go to the seaside, sorry can't come in today. Rant rant rant.

Hope you don't get the push, mole. Not that that's much comfort to those where you work who will.

Where I work 25% of us have to go thats around 500 people

First off all positions were "Deleted"

Then new but fewer posts wer created with changed terms and conditions including lowere pay.

Everyone is then invited to reapply for thier jobs.

Some loosers are offered alternative jobs at even less pay

BYe Bye tanks for the last ten years now Fuck off with minimum redundancy

Job Centre says spend your redundancy and all your savings befoe you even think of coming back

Sorry to hear about this mole. If it's any comfort I may well be in the same position soon.

Sorry to hear that Mole, it sucks. Are you in a union?

I lost my job back in December, Christmas Eve in fact. The company went into receivership so I didn't get paid for December, I had to apply to The Insolvency Service for the last month's money.

You won't be unemployed.

You will be failing to avail yourself of employment opportunities.
