I think I'm on fairly safe ground when I say that folk on here hold Nick Griffin's views and 'politics' to be despicable and abhorrent. But it has crossed my mind of late that, whilst I have no doubt that he fundamentally believes his views to be correct, I wonder if there's a part of him that embraced extreme right politics so readily and posited himself as the face of the BNP because deep down he knows that he would be extremely unlikely to succeed in mainstream politics. His public performances indicate that he struggles to hold his own in debate and just hasn't got what it takes and so the only path open to him his an extremist one which allows for such deficiencies. In other words, as well as being a nasty cunt, was/is Nick Griffin simply too rubbish to make any impact in politics anywhere else? I'm beginning to think that's played a part in things.

I know that someone else has posted this before...But why do you all here give this guy so much {for lack of a better word} Publicity? A shit is a shit. Tune him out. Theres loads of the same here too. I fuck em off when i can, other than that...they don't exist to me. I NEVER {EVER !} watch Fox news. I've no room in my head for extraneous nonsense. Thats all that this fart is.

I think its more than likely he found himself in the leadership position of the BNP he's in by default, an accident of sorts. He obviously is good at speaking to his own members, but like any leader of a fringe group he can't translate this into speaking to the general public, thank fuck.

I was just interested in other people's thoughts in this matter Dodge, and seeing as it's on the radar here in the UK in a very big and frankly worrying way I wanted air a thought or two myself and see what's out there.

Yeah, I agree. I do wonder whether he held any more 'mainstream' ambitions before though and realised he was never get anywhere - big fish, small pond kinda thing.

I'm not trying to censor. It's just that it seems alot to do about a nothing. We had the same type of cunt try to rise above a few years back. David Duke. Sank like a stone. Yeah...you do need to watch for the snakes. Hitlers rise depended on everyone looking the other way. If a shit like this Griffin is even a worry for a rise in Britains politics....you guys are in far worse shape then us....i'd say. I hope not for your sakes.

Ah well, at least he's been consistent unlike most mainstream politicians, and unlike me, I used to be a marxist once. :)
