No - that's true. Not only that, as has been pointed out elsewhere in the thread, their record of getting re-elected in council elections nationwide hasn't been a successful one.
It's ironic - if not at all unexpected - that they've taken a seat in the poshest part of Burnley despite all their quasi-populist "voice of common sense" rhetoric. They've fielded a few candidates in the Home Counties too, but I think the general Tory stronghold there is still to well-established for the BNP make much headway.
