The Royal Navy Trident nuclear submarines based in Faslane (Scotland) are the centre of a peaceful protest by a group of Japanese monks and green activists. Recently, one of these submarines broke down in Gibraltar and was dumped there waiting for repairs. The Royal Navy are surprised about all these protests, perhaps because they happen in remote areas and not by the London Docks.

Opposite Mnajdra Temple, an ancient construction bigger and older than Stonehenge, there is a tiny uninhabited island which had ALWAYS been there and considered sacred. This, until Malta became a Western colony. Half of it was bombed by the Royal Navy for practice and now lies half-broken and forgotten. Should we be proud of these wankers? Are they really part of our culture or shouldn’t they be kicked out instead?
