Nope, I answered that one, and plenty of structural engineers have answered the other points.

If you want a worthwhile conspiracy theory then the fact that the last two US elections were rigged is it. The discrepancy between exit polls and actual votes counted is huge, much larger than any of the possible mathematical methods used to calculate margin of error. IIRC in one place the exit poll said 60% Kerry and the votes said 30%. Even given peoples possible lying to hide the fact they've voted for the greater loony again (which we actually had here in the UK during Majors election) that is a massive discrepancy.
