Don't know how much cover Mr Sheridan's trial got outwith Scotland, but there have been a frenzy of "Is the party over" type articles all over the Scottish media since he won. I think the answer to thaese questions can be summed up with one of the opening quotes from the Executive Committee's all members bullet-in

"Tommy Sheridan might today be hailed as a hero bysections of the media. So too was Jeffrey Archer when he won his defamation case back in 1987, But, Archer was eventually exposed as a liar, a fraud and a forger."

I'll take that as a 'no' then.
