In the end I didn't make it to Stonehenge. I tried, but there were too many people and that was not really my scene. So, I did what I normally do and went to Avebury. It was cold, the sun didn't make too much of an appearance, but it was beautiful as always. I hadn't heard until I read it here that someone hurt themselves on top of Silbury Hill. I hope they are ok.
