So both Charlie Sheen and David Icke think the attack on the World Trade Centre was a global shadow-government plot?

Must be true then. If a Hollywood actor and a football player are on board, then where do I sign up?

Are you being serious? It's hard to tell sometimes on message forums.

Looking back at your messages, I get the feeling that you ARE being serious... that you're a proper Icke-head. So on that assumption...

How do you know I haven't read it? You're assuming I'm completely unfamiliar with David Icke's work and philosophy simply because I dismiss it. That's a pretty fundamentalist attitude.

The fact is, back in the late-80s / early-90s when Icke was just starting to warm to his theme, I examined what he was saying. And I find his general approach completely unsatisfactory. He bases a significant amount of what he says on "revealed knowledge" (i.e. stuff that cannot be independently verified). Having escaped one religious doctrime (Catholicism) which stakes a claim on Universal Truth, I have no interest in becoming embroiled with a low-budget version.

If Icke could genuinely prove his allegations about (e.g.) September 11th 2001, then why is he charging 16 quid a pop for people to read them. Believe me, if I had that information and a functioning website, there's no way I wouldn't publish it as far and wide as possible... try to get as many people to read it as possible; not try to earn cash from it.

Sorry dude, I gave Icke the time of day 15 years ago. He had nothing to say to me then. He has done precisely nothing to change that view in the intervening years.

I'd be interested to hear your opinions Jordy. You have plenty of links at hand, but where are your thoughts?

No I haven't. I would've thought that was implied by the fact that I dismissed him as a credible source of information over a decade ago.

A search on amazon.co.uk provides 21 books by David Icke. Almost all of them costing more than a tenner. Why on earth would I spend over 200 quid on the books of someone I find unconvincing and vaguely ludicrous? Are you suggesting I read every book written by every alleged crackpot on the off-chance that one of them contains something important? I'd spend my whole life reading unreadable books.

What a frustrating existence.

The events of 9-11 were planned and executed by a small group of militant Islamic terrorists. The reasons behind the attack are complicated, but US foreign policy over the past 60 years certainly played a greater or lesser role (depending on who you talk to).

So arguably, there is a very specific and limited sense in which the United States bears some burden of responsibility for what occurred.

But that's about as far as the evidence will allow you to go on this. And unless I'm given a very very good reason, I will ignore claims of conspiracy that come from people who have spent 15 years making a living off conspiracy theorists.

Good morning,
I have compelling never-before-revealed evidence that all conspiracy theories have at their root a secret agenda to harvest profit for the purse or the ego.

I am unable to say more right now but it's all in my book(s).

PS, did you read my 12th book? Since then, more has emerged. Buy my 13th.

BTW, I'm approaching my 60th birthday and have lost all need to appear reasonable. Consequently, I'd like to state that David Icke is a mad tosser and his mouthpart, Croley, is pathetic.

Thankyou for listening.
Isn't it great that Spring has arrived and the trees are turning green?

That's a conspiracy by the green movement. Really the trees are turning turquoise.

That's a bunch of speculation based on interpreting photos and videos of the aftermath of the attack. There's no evidence presented.

There hasn't been any at all on this thread that I can see.

Jordy - without just putting up a link to some shite site, tell us - WHY did the American government do this then? To justify a war on Islam? to justify the grab for oil? When have they ever needed an excuse to just take what they want in the past?
