You said it Markybov. I'm realistic in expecting no real change, human nature is very quick adapting to greed and material acquisitions, yet history has shown that we really can't get enough of what is bad for us. White Trash Culture. As long as we keep on kicking the arse of the Mom and ripping of respectful and indigenous people to pillage their only wealth (nature), there is no way but for us to choke and clog up our own sewers, roads and headspace with shit. You are right, the truth is so many people don't even know they are breathing, they are sanitised, numb to the world around them.

Shrimp, we are all human? It's about time people's humanity was measured in terms of deed not greed. I'd hate to think consumerism was a 'human' failing, I think it's a Western failing of recent times. The industrial age is after all, chronologically, a blip. Humankind lived in America for 1000's of years before we robbed them, and they were characteristically respectful of their environment. It may be fashionable to assume that they were to stupid to invent labour saving devices, but I think their lives were fuller than ours, and they still know it. (The ones that have escaped)

Let it never happen! It IS a them and us situation, at the moment. The spearhead of the enemy is the habitual pro-car user. Their armies that march all over and shit where they sit are unfortunately those of us who swear no allegiance; the so called 'normal' people who drive everywhere anyway. Realistically, anyone who does nothing about the situation is as guilty as the pro-lobby. But If you really care, you hurt with frustration to know how miniscule your voice is in the roar of traffic.
