Enviromental awards
Oct 25, 2001, 17:18
In a recent ceremony for the enviroment the WWF gave out some awards, some of them quite interesting.
and I quote ...

**
A Bema for special awareness was given, ironically and in his absence, to Lee Raymond, chairman and chief executive officer of the oil giant Exxon.

The judges said he deserved recognition for showing the best way not to save the planet by his criticism of the Kyoto Protocol, the international treaty on tackling climate change

I orignally thought an article entitled *News Online 'Best For The Enviroment'* was going to be about some scientist that had decided that internet news was more enviromentally friendly than other mediums, but it was just the BEEB shouting about some awards.

If anyone knows more of these awards, their worth and which other awards were given out please tell me.
