Please everyone check the following website, and if poss. write to Patricia Hewitt & Nice New Tone. I can't possibly see how the govt could stump up taxpayers money to guarantee payment for this heinous project for Balfour Beatty. But then it's a world gone mad and anything could happen..
Thousands of Kurds to get involutarily "displaced", their land & ancient city flooded. Risk of many infectious disease outbreaks, more disaster, more misery ..... please don't let it happen...
Even the governments 5 "tests" give it the complete thumbs DOWN.
