Is this just another form of lazy journalism?
Of course, what does it really matter. Not much I suppose.
But the amount of interviews where the interviewee's comments are followed up by "you may say that but". It seems an excuse to say "I hearing but not listening (or is that the other way round?!)- and here is my two-pennuth - please listen to my voice because I like it - irrespective of any facts"
Just occasionally it would be nice to hear something like "you say that; what evidence do you have to support your argument?" or "can you give an example of what you mean".
