This is one of the most depressing webpages I have ever seen ...

I haven't had any sleep last night and I need to go to work in a few hours. I hate America! This is it. We're doomed.

I think I'll shut off all news service. I won't look anymore...

I'm sorry, Hon. I feel for all of you over there; may I offer my sincere commiserations. God knows how Bush has been returned, probably paid several people off again. I'd suggest you came and lived over here, but Blair's no better and you probably wouldn't notice the difference! I don't know what else to say, really...

If you want to cheer yourself up, albeit very slightly, compare the map today with Reagan's overwhelming victory in '84. This will be a close result, even though Bush looks likely to win.

Am I the only one that can hear the Democrats breathe a sigh of relief? Altogether now, 'Hilary in 8'! Now, that's scary.

Actually (although I wasn't intending to look) I looked at the morning paper just now and the headline was "Too Close To Call". Apparently it's not sure if Bush won Ohio according to that report... Maybe there's room for hope.

But I doubt it.
