Rubbish. I gave him a hard time because I found it offensive. Why don't you get that? What I said above about things having more resonance with some people than others still stands. You might not mind being called a poof. I do. We differ. Besides, my friend was in agreement with what I said once I'd explained why I *personally* found it offensive and he thought about what I'd said. And I didn't claim I was speaking for the whole of the gay community.
