It reminds me of that advert recently for the HSBC bank, where ancient besuited employees of other banks are trying to tout for custom by 'rapping' and using 'youth slang'. It isn't going to fool anyone, surely.

I think punk rock has gotten conservative itself, artistically and musically. I'm not necessarily saying in politics, as even left-wing punk has gotten that way really. It's just as well we have 'conservative punk'...

My God! (or Godess!) that is awful. Is conservative punk an oxymoron?

That has got to be most definitely and indisputebly the worst, most noxious and nausea inducing website I have ever seen. By punk they obviously mean watered down grunge (and concentrated bilge) for young conservatives. In fact I have nearly forgotten about the website already as I type this as it wasn't even interesting shit. <not a fan>

According to one of the forum posts: "to me, punk rocks primary "rebellion"(not talking musicaly here),is a rebellion agianst the people, not government, that is secondary. to me, it is agianst the popular fads and trends, the norm of how someone should act" so what could be more "punk rock" than being a Republican? Or something. It makes little sense to me. There's also a large section on the forum by Xtian republican punks endorsing the rights of that judge to display the ten commandments in his courtroom. "If you can burn a flag, you can display the ten commandments" as one philosopher points out. I must remember to burn a flag in the dock if I'm ever hauled before an American court and see if it unconstitutionally affects my trial. They love Ann Coulter as well. Outstanding.

There was a piece in the NY Times about some conservative art gallery, too bad I can't post the link. But it was mostly pictures of the president as a patriot, warrior, fighter of Michael Moore. LOL! So that's what reactionary dickheads think is 'art' huh? The best they can do I suppose... I'd hate to see what their version of punk is...
