I've just seen the member's resolution to stop 'trail' hunting on NT land failed by just 299 votes - so I will not be renewing my membership. How they are willing to compromise the integrity of the organisation by allowing hunting on their land is something of a puzzle. Haven't yet heard the results of the A303 at Stonehenge vote.

Hi Nigel, I didn't get along to the AGM yesterday (life got in the way) but DID vote on line. Very sad both the motions were voted down by small margins. I knew the outcome of the 'hunting on NT property' yesterday and am grateful the Heritage Action blog for this update today. I will not be renewing my NT membership. https://heritageaction.wordpress.com/2017/10/22/stonehenge-a-sad-day-but-perhaps-a-turning-point/

It IS sad, isn't it? I watched online. "We" were magnificent. Those opposed were, well, less so. There's talk of a conference on Outstanding Universal Value which seems a good idea to get across the reality. As for the fox thing, I can't trust myself to say much yet. The Countryside Alliance were behind it of course. Lovely people.
