Personally, purely from a 'looks nice as it is' angle, I like it like this, but of course it can't be ignored having already been re-erected in the 30's I believe.

It is the most beautiful and quiet spot which in early evening is visited by hordes of ponies coming down to drink from the natural waterholes just to the south of the circle and is a wonderful sight. Of course many also ignore them and head straight for the circles ponds instead, which of course just exacerbates the problem.
