There are two forts on Galloway's North Rhins that I've fieldwalked (was worthwhile) in the vicinity of Strool Bay, just south of Portobello, which I've added to TMA previously. I don't know if there's another layer to Canmore that I can't access at the moment, ie 'sites within x km', but I can't find any entries, despite (vague) OS position marking. Anyone any ideas? Guess when I add I could call them Strool Bay N and S at a pinch...would prefer right names though, if they exist.

Hello Spencer, If you choose 'view all sites on map' from this page https://canmore.org.uk/map/about then you can zoom in to the right area and see all the blue dots round where you're interested

Just for the record, I went in search of the Devil's Arrows after doing what I had to in Harrogate, and failed to find them. Yes, you need a map of physical or electronic nature. That I did not possess. S*****r, who can find a pile of Iron Age dog poo in heather three feet high, could not find several stones of very great size. He drove up and down till after dark, may have seen a pair of dark silhouettes, but, could he actually lay his hands on them? Could he buggery. He is a failure. He did, however, get drawn unerringly afterwards straight to what are perhaps the best chips in miles, to be found at the Golden Bite in Boroughbridge...on subsequent Tripadvisoring, ignore one or two recent reviews: everything is, promise, absolutely fine, and this place will be returned to for more of the same...and a Nice Lady he met has his telephone number....
