Don't worry Roy - people normally copy every freaking previous post when they reply anyway! ;)

Ah a slight misunderstand I think Goff/Moss. It's not all the previous posts I'm having problems with in the one reply (although they are a pain) it's the replies in general. When I look to check on new posts on a thread the ones not already read are highlighted in red which then goes to orange once read. Are you with me so far? :-)
Well that's not happening here as the red highlighted ones stay red and don't go orange, thus I'm left with dozens of the darn things in red and having to filter my way through them to find the ones I haven't read.
Clear as mud? Thought so :-)

Any idea Eds?

maybe worth logging out then logging in .
A cookie problem ?

No that doesn't work either George, but thanks for the suggestion.

This is caused by a browser setting... in short the links go orange when your browser finds them in your browsers history. If you regularly clear your history for whatever reason, then the orange links will return to red as your browser doesn't know you visited them.

This is a firefox page explaining it that generally holds true for all browsers. http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/736035

Thanks juamei I'll check that out

Clearing out the history, you two eh?
Have you been looking at that naughty R*man stuff again? ;)

Nah not cleared anyfink...as far as I'm aware anyway. My settings seem to be okay and I've just done a System Restore but still no luck. Oh well, with any luck the thread will run out of steam soon and we'll move onto a new one :-) Who started this thread anyway?!!!!
