Arguing against re-erection from one point of view (ie the archaeological one) is being positively obstructionist; as is the argument that re-erecting more of the stones would attract more visitors to Avebury (an argument used by some Avebury residents).
As I keep saying, Avebury is a special case where a one-size-fits all to its future and its enhancement is not going to work.
Being positively obstructionist doen't entail failing to see the merits of the opposing view .
