Who's trying to make you look like an arse? If you're going to put forward irrational arguments, am I not allowed to point that out without you framing it as a personal attack?

Concluding that there's no real support *amongst TMAers* would be far more reasonable. But then we're talking about a cross-section of about eight people, which lets face it, is an irrelevance. Even if all eight of us were pro-restoration, it would hardly represent a compelling groundswell of public opinion.
