The Plain of Jars is amazing ...

I've just been looking through *'Old Stone Monuments' by James Fergusson (published 1872). Apart from the British Isles and Europe he has chapters which include Western Asia, Palestine, Sinai, Arabia, Asia Minor, Circassia, The Steppes, Cabul; India (as it was before Partition) including a bit on Buddhism in the West; North America, Central America and Peru.

Published by The Lost Library ISBN 978-190662107-0

*Originally called Rude Stone Monument
