Hieroglyphics and Rock Art
Jun 08, 2012, 15:45
I've been meaning to bring this up for some time but never got around to it. I noticed when I was in Egypt that no matter where you were, top or bottom, the lettered hieroglyphics carved out in the stone always looked identical inasmuch that they all looked like they had been burnt out with the same branding iron so to speak and the same depth. It got me thinking of rock art and cup marks, much of which, what I've seen anyway, has this same 'similar' look to it, like it was a prerequesite and carved to a standing template to order. I know you've been to Egypt LS, did you notice that and George, does rock art have this 'set' look to it on many occasions?
